Don't confuse WordPress.com hosted blogs with those you can host on your own site from WordPress.org. There are some very good reasons to use WordPress.com to get indexed quickly or as a part of your social media mix, however, you need to understand you CANNOT use plugins to customize or power, personalize your WordPress blog hosted on WordPress.com. Those being introduced to this platform through Empire Avenue's recent connection with WordPress.com should be aware of this limitation when planning how you'll integrate the new platform into your social marketing mix.
